Change isn’t always easy—but sis, it’s often where the magic begins. Whether it’s stepping into a new job, moving to a new space, or letting go of what once felt familiar, we all reach those moments where life asks us to grow in ways we didn’t expect. If you’re navigating big transitions and feeling unsteady, uncertain, or overwhelmed—you are not alone. I’m right there with you.
Right now, I’m in a season of significant change, and I’m excited to share it with you. After all, this space is created for real, raw, and healing conversations. As I embark on the first chapter of being more vulnerable, it feels really good. I am glad that I am able to be open while encouraging you guys as we navigate our journeys together.

💼 Stepping Into a New Role: Social Work Counselor
This Monday, I start a new journey as a Social Work Counselor—a position I deeply prayed for. It’s work that’s aligned with my soul, rooted in service, and grounded in healing. It’s a role that allows me to pour into others while also reminding me to care for myself.
But if I’m being honest… I’m feeling all the emotions. Excitement, nerves, gratitude, and that lowkey fear of the unknown. You know what I realized, though? You can be scared and still ready. You can be anxious and still equipped.
Growth doesn’t mean perfection—it means presence. It means allowing yourself to evolve, even when you feel unsure.
🏡 A Personal Challenge: Moving in Under 30 Days
As if starting a new job wasn’t enough, I’m also searching for a new apartment—and I have less than 30 days to find one and move. Whew.
The emotional weight of finding a place that feels safe, affordable, and aligned with my peace has been heavy. Between scheduling viewings, packing, organizing paperwork, and still managing everyday life… it’s been overwhelming at times.
But here’s what I keep reminding myself: Home is not just a destination—it’s an extension of your healing. And wherever I land, I know I’ll bring that healing with me.
If you’ve ever had to move on short notice, you know how deeply stressful it can be. It forces you to release what’s comfortable and trust in something that hasn’t yet arrived. But I’m learning to be okay with not having all the answers. I’m learning that I don’t have to control everything in order to move forward.
🌿 Why Change Feels So Hard (and So Necessary)
Change asks us to let go. It asks us to stretch into the unknown and trust what we cannot yet see. And honestly? That’s terrifying. But it’s also sacred.
Because in every ending, there’s a beginning.
Change reveals our strength. It strips away what no longer fits. It calls us into alignment. And most importantly, it reminds us that we are constantly becoming.
You might not feel ready, but you’re growing anyway. That is courage. If you need some insight on pushing through times when your are feeling overwhelmed and burnt out, check out my latest post.
✨ My Go-To Practices for Navigating Transitions
I know how tempting it can be to keep pushing, keep grinding, and keep “doing” when life gets chaotic. But I’ve learned the hard way that slowing down is part of the healing.
Here are some practices helping me stay grounded through it all:
- 🌸 Daily affirmations – I speak life over myself every morning. Words matter. Check out my Instagram page, where I have many affirmations that will uplift your mindset.
- ✍🏽 Journaling – Not just for clarity, but for release. It’s okay to cry on the page.
- 🧘🏽♀️ Stillness and breathwork – A few deep breaths remind me I’m safe in my body.
- 💡 Mini check-ins – I ask myself: “What do I need right now?”
- 💬 Talking to people I trust – A quick call or voice note from a friend can shift everything.
None of these are perfect fixes—but they remind me that healing is in the small, sacred moments. I have a post where I talk about simple self-care habits that are great for uplifting your mood. Check it out, here!
💬 Let’s Talk: How Are You Embracing Change?

🌟 Affirmations for Your Journey
Need a little encouragement today? Speak these out loud—or save them for later:
- I am safe in the unknown.
- I trust the timing of my life.
- I release control and open my heart to what’s next.
- I am becoming everything I was created to be.
- I am not behind—I’m blooming in divine time.
Let these affirmations be your anchor. Say them when you wake up, while you pack, or when your mind starts spinning with “what ifs.”
